Michael Nicola;
“I guess this is where you’re supposed to do a biography of yourself. Not likely, I don’t like lists (way too long) or labels (not always accurate) or accomplishments (self aggrandizing.) Like most of us, I’ve done a lot, let’s leave it at that.
If there was one core element that has followed me throughout my career and my long life it would be that I create. I can’t help myself and whether it’s costumes for stage and screen or interiors for restaurants and homes, condominium communities or simply helping people buy and sell houses, my most fulfilling work has been helping people realize dreams, to create community and build neighborhoods. This has been my greatest achievement. Making something tasty to take to Local’s Night also floats my boat any day of the week.
It’s what drives me, makes me get up on cold Winter mornings or venture out in the heat of Summer, is helping people make informed decisions that can change their lives, like moving to a new state or country. Watching over our little town of Los Alamos and helping it stay safe and cared for, building our neighborhood one family at a time, it doesn’t get any better”.
Gabriel Bustamante;
“From Walnut Grove outside of Los Angeles to the shade of walnut trees in Los Alamos; from working for the greatest mayor Los Angeles ever had and driving a presidential candidate to driving wonderful clients around, showing them the wonders of living on the Central Coast and the magnificent Santa Ynez Valley–there was lots in between but now I watch over my community, serving on local boards and living in tiny Los Alamos and couldn’t be happier.
After decades of working in real estate, a challenging and still fulfilling business, nothing makes me happier than putting the keys into new buyers hands, knowing they will soon be friends and love living here as much as I do”.
